Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of compassion and kindness, uniting people around the world in a shared vision of creating a society where acts of generosity are woven into the fabric of everyday life. Throughout the years, LaunchIT has generously contributed donations of different magnitudes to various organizations, while also dedicating their time to directly assist local causes.
We have actively supported causes that deeply resonate with in our community. These causes can encompass various aspects of our community, including organizations that support education, training, and assistance for individuals seeking to improve their social and economic well-being. Additionally, they may involve engaging in outdoor activities that offer new and enriching experiences, as well as initiatives that directly support members of the LaunchIT family. When deciding where to allocate our time, talent, and resources, we carefully consider multiple factors. Below are a few
- Donations to The Blank Park Zoo – we have helped build a much-needed holding pen for resident Otters. We have sponsored the Bald Eagle, Tiger, and Otters for a year to ensure they received the care and food needed.
- Adopt a Classroom – we have provided financial assistance through the purchase of various materials for specific classrooms. The foundation to a better society comes from food, health, and education. By providing assistance and guidance early on, we can help them thrive and reach their full potential.
- Breslyns Blankets of Love – This endeavor turned out to be a delightful surprise as we embarked on creating blankets for children battling various illnesses. Not only did our own children eagerly join us in making these blankets, but it also sparked a sense of unity within our families, bringing us closer together in our shared mission to help those in need.
- CISS – Some members of our team had the opportunity to serve lunch to those in need after Thanksgiving, and this experience left us with a profound sense of gratitude. Being able to directly interact with individuals and make a difference in their lives had a heartwarming effect on all of us.
We choose to keep most of our philanthropic contributions private because we believe they are personal and meaningful to both us and the recipients. However, we are considering sharing more of these acts to raise awareness for the causes we support. Ultimately, our motivation for giving stems from our belief in the worthiness of these causes.
